Winter Break

Well well this weather really does have it's ups and downs.
The ups of course are the pretty winter postcard scenes...

I have to admit though that they are better now BUT getting out now is too hard. Ventured out on Sunday and took a dive, saved only by my shoulder. This was not good and after spending the night in hospital...( much to the disgust of the A and E staff who thought a couple of paracetamol and Brufen would sort it). I'm home complete with broken arm. The break is up near my shoulder and so cannot be put in a brightly coloured plaster, or be fixed with tape or nails and screws. I have to do the patient bit, have patience and wait for it to get better. Some people will do anything for a bit of time off over the holidays...I'll even have to let other people decorate the tree and cook the dinner. They say a change is as good as a holiday, I'm not so sure. I'm off to learn some patience, could be hard...

  1. Oh my goodness! Poor you, that's terrible stuff. I fell over twice on the way in yesterday and have been saying I feel like it's only a matter of time before I do some serious damage.

Hope you get the hang of that patience thing quickly!

  2. What an awful thing to happen. It sounds awfully painful :0(

You'll have to take more of a supervisory role over Christmas. Dishing out orders might be fun.

Hope you're able to hold a mug of coffee and a good book.

    Take care x

  3. Oh no!! Poor you, it does sound sore and a right pain in the proverbial.
Look after yourself and I hope it's not too stressful delegating those essential Christmas jobs.
